Malcolm Brewster’s first few days of high school prove less than incredible. He might as well be invisible, for all the attention the other kids, including the lovely Becky, pay him.
 
But all that changes the day Malcolm injures the star of the basketball team with one swing of a fire ax. An unintended mistake, but the star insists that Malcolm hide the truth. And so, overnight, the mild-mannered Malcolm gains a legendary reputation throughout the school as Mad Dog Brewster.
